My hourly rate is 80nzd per hour, and I can get a lot done in an hour!

I will assess your instrument from its foundations and build up from there, ensuring everything is working as it should and dealing with the root causes of problems rather than providing “band-aids” that serve only to provide short-term relief

Flute repairs
A general service on a Flute includes repositioning of the headcork, straightening the body and adjusting tenons if required, stripping keywork and cleaning of components.
During reassembly, I will attend to connections and linkages, pad heights, and realigning of any keys. Lubrication and regulation of keywork and a final playtest.

General services for Flutes are 140nzd.

Any major body work or pad replacements require extra time and additional costs and are priced on a case-by-case basis, and I will always communicate this with you before any work takes place.

Alto and Bass Flute servicing and adjustments are welcome and are priced on a case-by-case basis.
Clarinet repairs
A general service for a Clarinet includes stripping down the keywork and cleaning body and keys, reassembling and attending to connections and linkages.
Pad heights are assessed, as is the realignment of any keywork and reseating any pads to ensure a correct seal. Worn or loose-fitting key corks are replaced and adjusted. Lubrication and regulation of keywork and a final playtest.

General services for Clarinets are 140nzd.

Tenon cork replacement and pad replacements require extra time and additional costs, and I will always communicate this with you before any work takes place.

I provide servicing and adjustments to all clarinets, including Alto and Bass Clarinets; prices are on a case-by-case basis.
Saxophone repairs
A general service on a Soprano, Alto, or Tenor Sax includes stripping keywork and cleaning the body and keys, reassembling and attending to pad connections and linkages.
Pad heights are addressed, and realignment of any keys. Adjustments to any pads to ensure a correct seal, and worn or loose fitting corks are replaced and adjusted. Lubrication and regulation of keywork and a final playtest.

General services for Saxes are 140nzd.

Any major body work, neck cork replacements, pad replacements, and tone hole levelling require extra time and additional costs and priced on a case-by-case basis, and I will always communicate this to you before any work takes place.

Baritone Saxophone servicing and repairs are welcome and priced on a case-by-case basis.
